Insurance Information
1. Our Insurance
Aurxio maintains commercial insurance appropriate to the operations and service locations confirmed in its current insurance documents. Coverage can vary by service, project, jurisdiction, worker, subcontractor and policy period.
A customer, property manager, general contractor or other authorized party may request evidence of insurance before work begins. Any certificate is provided for information only and does not change, extend or replace the insurance policy.
2. What Insurance Does and Does Not Mean
Insurance is not a guarantee that every incident, loss, product failure, delay or customer claim is covered. Coverage is subject to the actual policy wording, limits, exclusions, deductibles, conditions, reporting requirements and the insurer's investigation and decision.
Statements such as "fully insured," "zero risk," "all damage is covered" or "the customer has no liability" must not be used unless a qualified insurance professional has confirmed that the statement is accurate for the specific project.
3. Technicians, Service Providers and Subcontractors
Aurxio may perform or coordinate work through employees, authorized technicians, independent service providers and specialty subcontractors. Where insurance, workers' compensation, registration, bonding or licensing is required, Aurxio will use providers that meet the applicable project and legal requirements.
A subcontractor may carry its own insurance. The existence of separate coverage does not automatically make the subcontractor an insured person under Aurxio's policy or make Aurxio an insured person under the subcontractor's policy.
4. Property-Damage Concerns and Claims
A customer should report an alleged loss or damage promptly after discovery and provide the job number, service address, photographs, a description of what happened and any urgent repair information. The customer should take reasonable steps to prevent further damage and preserve the affected area where practical.
Aurxio may inspect the issue, gather records and notify an insurer or subcontractor where appropriate. The customer must not represent that a claim has been accepted until Aurxio or the insurer confirms that decision. Emergency work needed for safety or to reduce further damage should not be delayed merely to await inspection.
5. Additional Insured and Project-Specific Requirements
A request to name another party as an additional insured, provide a waiver of subrogation, increase policy limits, supply project-specific coverage or use a particular certificate form must be approved before the quotation is accepted. The insurer may decline the request or charge an additional premium or administration fee.
Any approved project-specific insurance cost will be identified in the quotation or change order.
6. Insurance Is Separate from Warranty
Aurxio's workmanship warranty, a manufacturer warranty, a paid maintenance plan and an insurance policy are different protections. A warranty addresses covered defects. A maintenance plan provides listed future services. Insurance responds only to losses covered by the applicable policy.
