TV Mounting and In-Wall Cable Concealment Addendum
Use with the Customer Service Terms.
1. Final Location and Height
Before drilling, the customer or authorized representative must approve the television location, height, viewing angle and mount type. Aurxio will provide practical guidance, but the customer makes the final aesthetic and viewing-position decision.
2. Wall and Mounting Conditions
The quotation is based on the stated wall type and reasonable access. Concrete, brick, tile, stone, plaster, metal studs, unusual framing, fireplaces, exterior walls, high ceilings, recessed areas and concealed obstructions may require different hardware, additional labour or a revised method.
Aurxio may refuse to mount a television where the wall, structure, television, mount or customer direction is unsafe or incompatible.
3. Customer-Supplied Television and Mount
The customer confirms ownership and must disclose known damage. Aurxio may photograph the television before installation and test it where practical. Aurxio is not responsible for pre-existing cracks, panel defects, missing hardware, incompatible VESA patterns, defective mounts or manufacturer problems not caused by the installation.
4. Fireplaces and Heat
A television installed above or near a fireplace may be affected by heat, soot, vibration, mantel design and manufacturer clearance requirements. The customer is responsible for confirming that the television manufacturer permits the proposed location. Aurxio may recommend a heat assessment, mantel or different location and may refuse an unsafe installation.
5. Cable Concealment
Cable concealment may require drywall openings, access holes, wall plates or surface raceway. The approved method will be stated in the work order. Unless specifically included, patching, sanding, texturing and painting are separate services.
Ordinary flexible television power cords and extension cords will not be concealed inside a wall. Any new receptacle, power relocation or other regulated electrical work must be completed by an appropriately authorized electrical contractor where required.
6. Hidden Utilities and Obstructions
Aurxio uses reasonable methods to select a route but cannot guarantee the location of every concealed pipe, wire, duct, block, fire stop or structural member. If an obstruction or unsafe condition is found, work may stop and the route, price or scope may need to change.
7. Testing and Handover
Where practical, the television will be turned on and basic mount movement demonstrated after installation. The customer should confirm the visible condition, final position and operation before the technician leaves and list any concern on the completion form.
8. After Installation
The customer must not exceed the mount rating, hang objects from the television or mount, alter fasteners, move an articulating mount beyond its intended range or allow children to climb or pull on the installation. Any later relocation, wall modification or equipment change should be assessed before use.
